 HOW SPEAKERS ARE SCHEDULED

Speakers are rotated in order of past speaking date.  New members are worked into the schedule as they are qualified to do so.  In order to be on the speaker rotation:

1. You must have completed MSP.  (Please inform your Mentor ASAP upon completion.)
2. You must be current in your Regional and Chapter dues.  If you are on the schedule, but your dues are not current, you'll be rescheduled at a later date when a slot becomes available.

 If you would like to partner up with another member for a joint presentation, we'd love to accommodate you. Please make arrangements with the Chapter Sec'y/Treasurer no later than 8 weeks in advance of the earliest speaking date.  Also, if you're going to be missing an upcoming meeting, know that it may effect the speaker rotation.  Please take that into consideration at the same time that you are finding substitutes for yourself.

Speaker rotation announcements will continue to be made during each chapter meeting, along with an e-mailed reminder sent 1 week prior to your speaking date. If you would like to know when you will be coming up on the rotation further than 4 - 6 weeks out, please see the Chapter's Sec'y/Treasurer after any Chapter meeting as they will be able to give you that information and advise accordingly.  This should avoid any upcoming surprises, as well as allow you time to invite guests to come and hear you speak.

Out of fairness to everyone, if you find that you cannot speak on your assigned day, IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO FIND SOMEONE TO FILL YOUR SLOT.  Once you've found a replacement from the upcoming speaker pool, please notify the Chapter Sec'y/Treasurer via e-mail immediately.  If you do not find a replacement, you will be moved to the bottom of the rotation schedule.  It's assumed that unless you're faced with serious situation such as a sudden illness or emergency, that you'll be speaking on your scheduled date unless you've made prior arrangements.
